The role of the Head of Business is to spearhead the organization’s P&L, Business Development, elevate its existing portfolio, and uncover novel business prospects. The incumbent collaborates with global partners to pinpoint opportunities in the regional market, fostering connections within a diverse network of Companies. This facilitates an in-depth understanding of market demands and the introduction of innovative offerings.
- Business Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with GES’s mission and goals.Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities that align with the company’s innovative solutions.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the business, collaborating closely with finance teams to develop budgets and financial plans. Drive financial success through strategic decision-making and resource optimization.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and maintain high-quality standards in service delivery. Implement best practices to ensure operational excellence across all facets of the business.
- Team Leadership and Development: Provide visionary leadership to diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture. Develop and mentor high-performing teams, encouraging professional growth within the organization.
- Client and Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders. Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and the delivery of exceptional IT technology consulting services.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that contribute to GES’s growth and success. Collaborate with external organizations and industry leaders to enhance the company’s market position.
- More than 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, ideally as a Head of Business, Chief Operating Officer, or similar, within the IT technology consulting industry.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.
- Excellent financial management skills and a proven ability to drive financial performance.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
