Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Gravity, you will develop and maintain GCP infrastructure, automate deployments using Kubernetes, and implement Infrastructure as Code practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the development team, ensure high performance and security, and thrive in an Agile, start-up environment.

Responsibilities
  • Developing, testing, and maintaining infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Automating infrastructure, application deployment, scaling, and management using Kubernetes and other pertinent tools.
  • Collaborating with the software development team to ensure seamless deployment of software updates and enhancements.
  • Monitoring system performance, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary solutions.
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) practices with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ensuring high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
  • Operating in an Agile environment with a start-up mentality and the ability to work in an unstructured environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a reputable University.
  • 5+ years of DevOps experience with current work in GCP or AWS.
  • Strong experience with GCP, including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and other relevant GCP services.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ability to operate in an Agile environment with a start-up mentality and adaptability to unstructured environments.
  • Energy, drive, and passion to work and operate in a digital world.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.
  • Deep understanding of Photo Editing industry trends, technology, and customer needs.
