Challenge

OGO app founders reached Gravity to redesign and redefine user experience for the app that will ensure passenger safety while we look to design for positive riding experience with the app. The challenges are to find out how to make the app not only user friendly but as companion to the passengers.

Our Approach
  • User Research

When we understand the actual audience and the documentation of the assumption, the most important part was collecting users feedback. Primarily our team arranges short interviews of many users individually which was the vital source of feedback.

  • Defining problems

Analyzing the tons of feedback, our team discovered some problems that were often asked by the users.

  • Ideation

With help of users, when we come to know the problems then it was time to bring out some effective solutions to make the app of OGO users

  • Wireframing

Doing some rough visual execution of the solution. Here our team went through the design studio method to generate so many visual ideas.

  • Prototyping

Finally, we turned our sketch into the Hi-fi prototypes. For prototyping, we used Adobe XD and Sketch. And for the animated prototyping, we used Adobe after effects.

The Solution
  • Feel a ‘safe journey’

In today’s world, woman safety is a concern and to deal it we brought well tested placement of the button to make sure the number one priority of the app. At the same time SOS button not be meant to be tapped other wise. We have smartly tackled the problem by providing the button within the access range of user’s thumb.

  • Be Happy when you’re on go in OGO

Now Assamese people travel anywhere happily within the City or Outstation. We created user interfaces for the people to make choices to move on map view. Interactions that allow users to switch the travel plan from one to another. As a third dimension to the business goal and user goal, OGO is designed to provide delivery services on the same map view that makes the life easier to track your delivery orders.

  • Pleasant journey - Inside city or Outstation

App view is visualized such a way user travel is followed by a bird that follows from the beginning to end of the journey. Clearly displayed taxis nearby on the map that shows the on glance view of a availability and waiting time. Enter where to go with smart assistance to fill automatically and take to the grid view on the map. View whole journey estimations with time & cost that strategically priced by market study. All interaction in on the screen makes use focus and complete the task. All new interfaces for commuting to outstation with the same user experience as inside city travel.

  • Recall all stories with saved Histories and Favorites

All your stories of your every journey is saved to a history that shall view in a memorable listing pages designs and details screen designs. User will be all set to go with OGO with one simple tap as previous journey is saved and presented at appropriate time and placement on app screen.

  • Well! Payment will be made for sure, because it’s well designed

Business can only run and succeed when payment is made properly. Usability has to be the focus on these screen designs. We work on several options to test and validate to design which was a human-centered design approach. Well, when payment screens are well designs payment will be made by users without fail.

Conclusion

We designed user experience by keeping all the user needs on the table to prioritize and define their pain points while overseeing business goals are met. Provided a view interface of all the services required for the journey step by step until the completion which was fully integrated on a map view having safety features when users need it.
