Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Test Lead to join our team. As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive test strategy for Gravity, creating detailed test plans, and overseeing test automation efforts. Your role will involve conducting rigorous testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of releases. Additionally, you will maintain documentation, generate reports on testing progress, and participate in design and code reviews to uphold quality standards throughout the development process.
Mandatory Skills
Test Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for Gravity.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts that align with project goals and requirements.
- Define testing milestones and deliverables and ensure they are met.
Test Automation:
- Lead efforts to automate testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
- Ensure the integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
Team Leadership:
- Conduct rigorous testing of Gravity's products, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Identify and report defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
- Ensure the quality of releases and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Generate detailed reports and metrics on testing progress and outcomes for stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with testing efforts.
- Participate in design and code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
